Our local Gumbaynggirr culture is alive at our school and is evident from the moment you walk through our gates. Our children are encouraged to connect to our land, environment and each other and everyone's perspectives are valued. Gumbaynggirr language lessons and community involvement are highly regarded by the whole school.
We are a K-6 school, with three additional Learning Hub classes which cater to various physical and intellectual abilities. The care shown by all staff to all students is evident in the way our students treat each other. We focus on the 'how to learn' curriculum as much as the content of the syllabus.
Just some of the many extra curricular activities include cooking, bike riding, Indigenous dance, band, art and much more. Sport plays a major role in our school with football, netball, basketball and even table tennis! We are also committed to teaching our kids minfulness, teaching them strategies to be confident and resilient.
