Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Getting involved is genuinely rewarding. It's a chance to give back, meet other families and see the difference you make, and you don't need to attend every meeting or volunteer regularly to be part of it. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members who assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. They also run our school canteen. The P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our whole school community.

The money we raise goes straight back into our school, funding the resources, equipment and experiences that benefit our children every day. Joining the P&C is a great way to meet other families, especially if you're new to our school, and to contribute to our school's future. Grandparents and carers are welcome too. We would love to have you on board!

Become a member

For just $1, you can become a P&C member and receive our email updates including meeting agendas and minutes, plus news about upcoming events you might like to be part of. It's the easiest way to stay in the loop, with no obligation to take on anything more.

P&C meetings

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month during school terms. We meet in person at the COLA straight after school pickup, at 3.30pm, and usually run for about an hour. A Zoom option is offered at times for those who can't make it in person. Meeting days and times aren't set in stone, they can be adjusted to suit the majority of members, so don't let a particular time put you off. New members are always welcome. Feel free to just come along to a meeting to see what it's like, with no commitment required.

Events throughout the year

Our P&C runs and supports a range of events across the year, including:

Did you know?

Did you know our canteen is run entirely by the P&C? It's not a school service or an outside contractor, it's your P&C, staffed and managed by volunteers and our canteen team, with every dollar of profit going straight back into our school. So, when your child buys their lunch or grabs a treat on a special day, they're directly supporting their own classrooms, equipment and experiences. Lending a hand in the canteen, even occasionally, makes a real difference and it's one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to get involved.
