Our extra-curricular highlights

Debating and public speaking
Our kids can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help our kids be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.

Trips and excursions
Our kids enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Gumbaynggirr language
Nelson Mandela famously said, "If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart." This quote highlights the importance of communication and connection through language, emphasising how speaking to someone in their native tongue can foster deeper understanding and emotional resonance.

Aboriginal dance
Aboriginal dance preserves culture, boosts identity, enhances fitness, fosters community, expresses emotions, educates, connects spiritually and builds confidence.
