Dr Trish Grace - Principal

I know being principal of FPVCPS is the best job in the world. I also know a lot of song lyrics, especially form the 80s!

I couldn't do without my family, phone and laughter!

In my free time I like to read, work in my garden and be with my horses.

My superpower is learning and I love it. You could call me an extreme learner. I have a lot of educational degrees because learning brings me enjoyment and inspiration. I also love when others learn - some of my favourite moments in learning are seeing kids' 'light bulb' moments, when they suddenly realise they understand. It's very motivating for everyone to keep learning more!

My favourite celebration is Christmas because it makes so many happy.

Matt Greenway - Assistant Principal of Primary

I know that our school is one of the best environments on earth. I have been blessed to be able to join the amazing team at FPVC Public School and I really enjoy the positive vibe and energy I get from the students and staff when I arrive at school each morning. The happy smiling faces and the friendly atmosphere makes it an amazing workplace.

I can't live without my family. I have 3 daughters and my wife and I absolutely love spending time together as a family. We love going to the beach, swimming in the waves and being outdoors in the sun adventuring to new places and always trying new and exciting things. My daughters love visiting the playground and climbing to the highest point of the park and then laying down the challenge for me to do the same. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world where we are lucky enough to have wonderful parks, outdoor adventure spoyts and the beach which is right on our doorstep so we can always find the next adventure together.

In my free time I find myself always exercising and keeping fit. I love to wake up early in the morning in the pitch black darkness  and be out on the road getting the kilometres running into my legs. Some mornings I wake up and it's much too cold to be out on the road pounding the pavement so I am in the gym lifting weights or cross training to keep myself fit and active. I also enjoy pool swimming early in the morning, only if the pool is heated of course!

My superpower is accepting new challenges. I find as a teacher there is always a new challenge that needs to be accepted.  I always give my best effort to overcome a challenge or find new ways to tackle the challenge to get a positive outcome. So far to date no challenge has been able to defeat me but some have tested me right to my limits.

My favourite celebration is 100% the Olympics. I really enjoy watching the opening ceremony and then being absolutely glued to all the athletes competing in all their chosen sports. My favourite is always the swimming. Sometimes I even find myself cheering just a little too loud at the tv trying to get the Aussie swimmers to touch the wall first to win gold in their chosen event.

Robyn Beauchamp - Assistant Principal Stage 1

I know that I enjoy coming to school every day and seeing all the happy smiles on kids faces when i say "Good morning", they always light up. I am so lucky to work with a great bunch of teachers and staff who are keen to talk about curriculum and share their learning journeys with me, I love hearing the stories.

I couldn't do without yoga, my family and my phone!

In my free time I do yoga, and I try to use every moment to reinforce learning by making links and connections to various situations.

My favourite celebration would have to be Christmas because my whole family can get together to celebrate and just have fun!

Jessica Sheather - Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction

I couldn't do without my coffee! Everyone at FPVCPS knows that Mrs Sheather loves coffee and has a major sweet tooth! You will often catch me with coffee in hand and a smile on my face.

In my free time I love to be with my family on our farm. We are so lucky to live in the beautiful Nambucca Valley with our pets. On our farm we have sheep, chickens and a dog named Ned. We also have a veggie patch and fruit trees to grow our own food.

My superpower is learning and so is yours! With a growth mindset you can learn anything and do anything that you focus on. We are all life long learners and there is nothing more exciting than learning something new.

My favourite celebration is Book Week! Whole school celebrations are such a fun way for us to celebrate learning together as a community. Dressing up and sharing our favourite story books always leads to such rich discussions.
